We are ecstatic to announce the upcoming release of Pokey’s new full-length album, Something in the Water.
Something in the Water will be released worldwide April 7, 2015 (New Zealand and Australia will see it sooner, on March 24).
The new album continues to evoke the spirit of the Midwest, with elements of early jazz, ragtime, country blues, Western swing, and beyond incorporated throughout. Pokey’s sound gets treated with a heavier dose of groove and rhythm on Something in the Water, which features drums and punchy backing vocals throughout!
