Howdy friends!

Hooray for the official start of summer! It’s been over a month since we returned from our epic two month tour of Europe. We’ve been enjoying a little free time, relaxing and enjoying our favorite summer pastimes–riding bikes, throwing the baseball around, picnics, and, of course, making music!

We did have a couple of shows in between our return from Europe and now, though. We had the pleasure of kicking off the Twangfest festival in St. Louis on June 6. What a grand old time that was. Thank you to everyone who traveled to be with us and celebrate twangy tunes in the Midwest. Playing in our hometown is always a pleasure, and we had so much fun singing, dancing and catching up with old friends (and new ones, too!).

And a special thank you goes out to everyone who attended Jack White’s performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles May 30 and 31! It was truly an unforgettable experience that we will forever treasure. Check out these photos of the concert!. Also be sure to have a look at a video that we recorded in the lobby of The Wiltern… the acoustics in there were so brilliant, we just couldn’t resist a little impromptu song…

If you couldn’t get enough of us and Mr. White together, there’s more coming! We will be opening for him again this summer August 10 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (just outside of Denver), and again August 14 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle, and yet again on August 15 at the Rose Quarter Theater of the Clouds in Portland. We are honored to visit such wonderful venues, and also to share a stage with Mr. White yet another time! He’ll be playing music off his new album, Blunderbuss. Give it a listen (we are featured the track “I Guess I Should Go to Sleep”)!

Summertime is full of music festivals, and we’ll be appearing at a whole bundle of them in the United States and Canada this season. We’ll soon be bound for the Donkey Creek Festival (Wyoming), the

Rochester Jazz Festival (New York), the River of Music Party (Kentucky), the Winnipeg Folk Festival (Canada), the Green River Festival (Massachusetts), theDawson City Music Festival (Canada), the Calgary Folk Music Festival (Canada), the Edmonton Folk Music Festival (Canada), the Regina Folk Festival (Canada), the Philidelphia Folk Festival (Pennsylvania), the Whispering Beard Folk Festival (Indiana), and the Fayetteville Roots Festival (Arkansas). Wow, that’s a lot of festivals! Check out our tour schedule below or at the tour dates page on our website to see our complete schedule of dates.

We also have some club dates scheduled too, and we’re going to get that kicked off next week with shows in Pittsburgh (Club Café), York (Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center), and Cincinnati (The Ballroom at the Taft Theatre)! And looking forward to later in the Summer… If you’re also a fan of Old Crow Medicine Show, you’re in luck! We’ll be opening for them on Sunday, August 19 at the Ntelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are blessed to be sharing a stage with such deep, talented artists! Their new album, Carry Me Back, will drop next month.

Please continue to visit our website, where you can see photos and videos, or purchase our goods for sale. We’re excited to spend the next few months with y’all.

See you down the road,
