Howdy Folks,

Fall is upon us and what a beautiful time it is! Pokey and the band spent a very busy September on the road, traveling all over the Midwest on Pokey LaFarge’s Central Time Tour. What a grand time! There are some excellent photos and video to share from the road and while performances may be sparse in the weeks ahead, there are still some great things in the works! Read on ahead and keep an eye out for some exciting news in the coming weeks…

An Incredible Time on The Central Time Tour!

In a 15 day stretch, Pokey along with Dom FlemonsJoel Savoy, Jesse Lége & The Cajun Country RevivalThe TillersThe Loot Rock Gang and an extremely hardworking crew traveled throughout the heartland, stopping off at 13 towns. Thank you all for coming and joining in on such an inspirational experience!

A special thanks to photographer extraordinaire, Nate Burrell. He documented some truly great moments along the road and was the videographer behind the stellar backstage all-star performance of “Mama Don’t Allow”. What Falls Ahead…

On October 19th, Pokey and his band will be heading down to Louisville, KY to perform at the Centennial Festival of Riverboats. This Festival is a big birthday celebration for the Belle of Louisville, oldest operating Mississippi style riverboat in the world. Pokey will be closing the six day festival with his performance at 6:30pm along the mighty Ohio River waterfront. There are so many great artists playing throughout the festival that it should not be missed! Did we also mention that it is free?

Come November, the band will play a weekend of shows in the Midwest, starting in Pokey LaFarge will be inLafayette, Indiana at Duncan Hall onNovember 21st. The performance will be presented by the great non-profit music co-op,Friends of Bob. All ticketing and event information can be found at their website here.

On November 22nd, Pokey and company head up to Evanston, Illinois just north of Chicago, where they will be playing at SPACE. For ticketing and event information, click here.

The last show of November will be at Legion Arts’ CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on November 23rd. Tickets are $19 in advance and $23 at the door, so be sure to snag some tickets early at the link here!

Home for the Holidays

On December 11th, Pokey will be playing a very special solo performance at St. Louis’ very own KWMU. This great night will be presented by Songbird Cafe’s Singer/ Songwriter In The Round series and will also feature Kelly WellsRyan Spearman, and Tommy Halloran. Click here for more details.

March/April 2015: Australia and New Zealand

Didn’t catch Pokey LaFarge last time he played in the Southern Hemisphere? Don’t Fret! The gears are in motion for and we are now planning another Australia/ and New Zealand tour coming down the road in March & April of 2015! First to announce is Byron Bay Blues Fest, where Pokey will perform on April 4 & 6.
